Since moving to Queensland in 2021 I have propagated a number of pineapple plants from the tops of the fruit. These in turn have fruited themselves. The flower and transformation into fruit is also quite pretty.

It takes about 18 months from planting to harvesting a fruit. The photos below document my first ever pineapple plant from potting to first fruit. (click for large image)
